The Norman Felton Collection contains: correspondence, both general and personal; general information on Felton, including studio-produced biographies, clippings and photographs; notebooks and binders featuring lists of writers and actors, Nielsen ratings and episode guides; Arena Productions section containing miscellaneous materials of correspondence, financial matters,personnel and script lists and production notes. "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" television series is represented by a multitude of items. Included are not only budgets and correspondence from the original collection, but also a large number of fan-donated items such as: fan mail, publicity, photographs, memorabilia, "The McCallum Observer" fan publication, novelizations of the television series and magazines. Located in an oversized drawer are posters, pressbooks and phonographic sound recordings all featuring David McCallum. Rounding out the collection is a series of Felton television programs represented by correspondence, photographs, scripts and miscellany; a number of produced and unproduced television scripts by Felton and others; a manuscript of Felton's autobiography as well as articles written about and by Felton; produced television scripts; a video tape of one episode each of "Studio One" and "The Eleventh Hour"; two more copies of Felton's autobiography - one on 3.5 floppy disk and one in manuscript form.

Norman Felton was a producer and director best known for his work in television. Born in London, he left school at the age of thirteen and worked odd jobs until his family emigrated to the United States. He earned a B.A. and Master's degrees from the University of Iowa, and worked various jobs; Felton became active in community theatre, and eventually landed a job as a director for NBC radio in Chicago.
